I have used dotblog for a while now and am happy with it; but I am still unable to create active hyperlinks in my blog posts.
I have used the Link symbol (the "chain links")...I type into the dialog box the URL of the link I want to insert into my blog, but although the process works, the link created does not show up as a clickable hyperlink when I view the "live" blog.
I am not trying to link to anything complicated....just to other websites.
I have also tried typing in the normal <a href> coding, plus the url details, but that doesn't work either.
Can someone explain to me what I am not doing correctly?

Ton profil est vide de toute adresse vers ton blog... Ça aide moyen.
Assures-toi que ton lien comporte une url complète, avec le protocole : http:// ou https://

I had not filled in my profile when I posted.

As an example, if you look at my post on August 19th, you will see that I simply typed in the URL
so that visitors to the blog would know how to get to the auction-site for this picture. Naturally, this is not clickable.
Below this I have more text, and then, at the end of this blog-post I used the "chain-link" symbol to enter the same URL
again for the auction-site.
Now....when you view the blog, you cannot see this second link. However.....it IS viewable in the blog source code.
I cannot understand why it does not show up in the blog itself.
The http:// part was included.
In most other blog posts I have given up using the chain-link symbol and just added the link details in ordinary text.

En wiki de dotclear, il faut sélectionner le mot (ou l'adresse) avant de cliquer sur le bouton d'insertion de lien. Ce qui produira ce code (en wiki) :
[nom|http://www.dailypaintworks.com/buy/auction/592824]
Si tu utilises l'autre barre de mise en forme (dckeeditor), le principe reste le même : il faut sélectionner le texte avant de cliquer sur le bouton d'insertion de lien.
