"Image title" facility not working - Theme Fjalla

Despite Blog Settings being "Image Legend and Title = Title" the actual title, as entered in Media Manager, is  not showing up.  I have noted that it only applies to images uploaded after the change, but nevertheless images loaded after that change remain title-less.

What would I be doing wrong?

Sorry for the delay. When you load another theme, like the DC default theme, do you have the image title?
I don't think so as Fjalla uses the same html pages as the default theme.
I personally used

<img src="Path_and_name_to_image.jpg" alt="Image name" /></a>
<figcaption>Text below an image</figcaption>
</figure>

Belated thanks, Ben.  Hadn't seen your reply.  I seem to have got it solved, and titles appearing.  Not quite sure how, but it's suddenly working.

Another issue is a major concern, but I'll post separately.
