Re : Sticky posts

Hi,

There are different ways of achieving that.

You should first look at the HomePageMode plugin, which you will find on the forum – or be more specific if it doesn’t fit.

Re : Sticky posts

Hi Louis, you can mark some posts as selected and then call <tpl:Entries selected="1"> on your home.html template.

Re : Sticky posts

Update,
it is really there, only it appears in the right column, in a new section "Best of Me".

My idea isreally as simple as this:
Mark a post as sticky so that it always apears first (top to bottom) regardless of its date.

Or I'm not explaining exactly what I want?

thanks,

Re : Sticky posts

Maybe with something like that in your home.html :

<tpl:Entries selected="1" no_context="1">
<h2>{{tpl:EntryTitle encode_html="1"}}
</tpl:Entries>

Re : Sticky posts

Olivier,
it just does not work in my blog.

I'm using the AzorkV4 as a base.

You can see how it looks by clicking in my signature.

Thanks anyway,

Re : Sticky posts

What code did you exactly put in your home.html, Olivier gave you a direction, but the code is not complete ;-)

Re : Sticky posts

I've tested all possibilities, it didn't work, and I changed it all back to how it was.

Never mind, forget it (really!)

Did you erase (browser|dotclear) cache during your tests ?

Re : Sticky posts

Let me resurrect this topic...

Sometimes we would like to keep some post at the top of the others for longer time. Any simple solution for that?
