dc and rewrite cache plugin

Hi,

is there a plugin for dc which uses mod_rewrite for a static cache plugin, similar to the drupal boost plugin or wp static cache?  Then no php is needed for the cached files.

There are 2 plugiins, their use depends on how much control you have on your server.

StaticCache and MemCache

Thanks for the information.  I had seen these plugins, but as I understand both require the start of a php process.  I was thinking of a static cache plugin using mod_rewrite, that just serves html (for anon visitors) and does not need to start a php process.

So it seems there is not such a plugin?

With static cache the php process is reduce to à little part and with the trick for the datbase, there is no sql  connection if the page is in the cache.

On my website pages loads 2 time faster. ;-)
