How do I update to a Mercurial branch?

My Dotclear is installed via Mercurial and currently at branch 2.5. I would like to get the latest (non-HEAD) release. That appears to be v2.6.2, but "hg update 2.6" and "hg 2.6.2" don't work. What is the recommended release branch?

The recommended Mercurial update procedure should probably be documented on http://dotclear.org/documentation/2.0/admin/upgrade and http://hg.dotclear.org -- I will be happy to update the docs.

The first step is to pull the latest version through "hg pull". Then you can update to the branch/tag you want through "hg update" command.

Thanks. I updated http://dotclear.org/documentation/2.0/a … urial-copy but (not surprisingly) do not have access to update the repository homepage. Is there anything else most users are likely to need, which should be in the docs?

After I switched to the '2.6' branch, Dotclear identifies itself as 2.6.3, which appears to be unreleased. Is there a branch or tag for the latest release (2.6.2 in this case)?

* All 2.6.x versions are on the 2.6 branch
* Tagged versions have the same name as the version number, ie. "2.6.2" for the 2.6.2 version (which is on the 2.6 branch)
* The next version is on the default branch. Once 2.7 is released, there will be a 2.7 branch created
* There are other branches for some features to come.
