Bonjour,
comme souvent, je ne viens que parce que j'ai un souci, navré... Mais en même temps, quand je lis vos discussions, je me sens super dépassé...
Parce que j'ai cherché mais je n'ai probablement pas compris ce qu'il fallait comprendre...
Déjà, je ne suis même pas sur de la version installée sur mon site : http://ericbeauvillain.free.fr/
Je pense que c'est la 2.9.2-r3248 puisque c'est le dernier numéro du dossier Dotclear que j'ai sur mon ordi...
Donc, oui, je ne suis pas très assidu en mise à jour...
Acte 1.
Du coup, voyant que la version 2.12.1-r3594 me fait du pied sur la page d'administration, je tente la mise à jour automatique.
J'obtiens of course le message suivant :
"Comme les fichiers suivants de votre installation de Dotclear ont été modifiés, votre installation ne peut être mise à jour. Merci de mettre à jour manuellement ."
(la liste est en bas de post mais c'est pas vrai, j'ai pas modifié tout ça...)
Parce qu'il est vrai que j'ai modifié des fichiers voilà longtemps mais je ne sais plus lesquels...
(pour que mon site soit joli comme je veux sauf que maintenant, si on clique sur "billets précédents", ça marche pas, c'est dire si je suis doué...)
Acte 2.
J'ai donc essayé de transférer par Filezilla la nouvelle version sur mon site.
J'ai eu page blanche avec message d'erreur (que je n'ai pas noté mais qui devait ressembler à problène, ligne 242 avec tout un chemin derrière)
J'ai donc réinstallé l'ancienne version et cherché une solution sur le forum (puisque la dernière fois que j'avais dit, au pire, je garde ma version, il y avait eu levée de boucliers, oh là, surtout pas, faut mettre à jour !)
Je pense que c'est à peu près à ce moment là qu'est apparu, en haut de page, un message d'erreur UNIQUEMENT quand je suis sur la page "Paramètre du blog" :

Acte 3.
J'ai alors trouvé le plugin Fake Me Up qui m'a donné tout un tas de fichiers modifiés (que je mets en bas de message aussi).
J'ai ensuite tenté la mise à jour.
J'ai eu un message d'erreur : "Unable to open file"
Puis, à chaque nouvelle tentative : "Une erreur est survenue lors du téléchargement de l'archive."
Acte 4.
Du coup, je fais quoi ???
Je laisse mon ancienne version ?
Je bourrine ?
Je fais les mises à jour une à une de la 2.9.2 à la 2.10, 2.10.1, 2.10.2 ?
Question subsidiaire : y a-t-il moyen que je retrouve les fichiers que j'ai modifié voilà moult années ?

En fait vous êtes confronté a 2 problèmes différents.
1/ "Une modification de fichier" peut-être due a un transfert ftp mal paramétré.
2/ A une limitation des pages perso de Free
Mais il existe des solutions.
La première chose a faire est de revenir a votre version d'origine (soit 2.9.2-r3248)
Ensuite d'installer le plugin dcFree (http://plugins.dotaddict.org/dc2/details/dcFree) qui contournent certaines limitations de Free
Puis installer le plugin Fake Me Up et l'exécuter.
Et pour finir réaliser la mise a jour.
