Hi!
I have add a greek language (el) to a Dotclear installation.
Then I have translate in the locale folder 2 .po files(date.po & public.po),
cause I want only the frondend to b in greek language.
For that I have declare in the Blog settings language the "el" language.
I have delete also from the locale/el folder all the php-lang files and
only the .po exist!
Unfortunately the blog still appearing in the english language!
What I am doing wrong?
Any help please!

Hi spyrou
The frontend language is done in {Blog}/"locales".
Did you check the entire content of this folder?
I would start with comparing the content of the "el" folder with what was done in other languages http://download.dotclear.org/nightly/l10n/
I ♥ Dotclear.

Thanks Ben for your answer!
I cannot find in the dotclear folders structure the {Blog}/"locales" folder.
Please, can you give me a more specific paradigm where can I find this folder?
I have installed the greek version of date.lang.php, public.lang.php, date.po and public.po files in the cPanel folder "public_html/dotclear/locales/el/".
"el" is the folder for the greek language. Also in the same folder "locales" there are "en" and "fr" folders for english and french language.
In the blog settings I have select the option of greek language "el".
Of course inside the "el" folder there are also the rest 4 files main.lang.php, plugins.lang.php and the .po of them, but I have not translated
in greek language cause I was thought that those files are for backend of the CMS and for the time I was interesting only for the frontend.

Hello
Did you install the greek language pack ? In case you did not, go to "languages" in your blog's admin and add it : http://download.dotclear.org/l10n/2.15.3/el-2.15.3.zip
You should not have to modify anything in the locales folder. Also, leave the php and po files there, and modify them only if some translation is missing.

Sorry, I just checked the zip file indicated above, and it appears that dotclear was not translated to greek at all...
If you want to add your translations for public side, you will have to edit public.po with Poedit

Thanks Philippe I have translated the 2 frontend .po files (date&public) already!
What I have to do next?
