Hi everyone,
I have been having a problem with dcCKEditor for quite a while forcing me to use dcLegacyEditor. It would be nice to figure out the problem so I can use the dcCKEditor.
Problem: when I choose dcCKEditor as my preferred editor, the 'new entry' page goes blank on the Excerpt and Content fields. I can't post an entry at all. When I reset it back to the legacy editor then the 'new entry page' works fine.
Any ideas what the problem might be? My version of dotclear is 2.15.1
Note:
I only have this problem on a blog I have been running for many years - upgraded to 2.15.1.
I have a test blog with no entries and dcCKEditor works there. BUT when I do a full blog import to this test blog then dcCKEditor STOPS working. There must be some setting in my blog that is causing the problem...
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello.
First of all, check that the admin URL in dotclear/inc/config.php is exactly the same as in backoffice's blog parameters. The dcCKEditor plugin is quite touchy on this point.

Thanks a bunch Philippe! I changed admin address to https and added www. to the address in config.php. Now it works.

Just after upgrading to last version (2.15.3) I got similar issue.
I check this post and find out that DC_ADMIN_URL did not have the good domain, fix and everything work again.
Thanks a lot for the job job mate.

It has nothing to do with the blog setup
The DC_ADMIN_URL must be strictly the same as the actual admin url of your installation
So if your admin is http://domain.tld/dotclear/admin/
DC_ADMIN_URL is http://domain.tld/dotclear/admin/

Ok, but then I don't understand your input:
First of all, check that the admin URL in dotclear/inc/config.php is exactly the same as in backoffice's blog parameters.
What you you mean with "backoffice's blog parameters"?

In the admin web interface : https://domain.ltd/dotclear/admin/blog_ … anced-pref

I meant back office url, but did not express myself clearly enough ;)

No, I think you are wrong. In the web admin interface you have "https://domain.tld/dotclear/index.php/?" and under DC_ADMIN_URL in config.php you have "https://domain.tld/dotclear/admin/".

Thanks for this - I had the same problem, and editing the admin URL in config.php resolved it
